SupplyOne Acquires GTI Industries, Inc.
Newtown Square, Pennsylvania, August 1, 2019 – SupplyOne, Inc., a Newtown Square-based packaging company, announced today it had acquired GTI Industries, Inc. (“GTI”), a leading distributor of high-value standard and custom industrial packaging solutions in Florida’s Tri-County region.
Founded in 1972 and headquartered in Miami, Florida, GTI serves the food and beverage, industrial, and pharmaceutical markets. In addition to its core industrial packaging offering, the company provides a portfolio of complementary packaging products, including packaging equipment, janitorial supplies, food packaging supplies, and material handling supplies.
Initially known as Gummed Tape, Inc., GTI transformed itself into one of South Florida’s largest and most respected packaging distributors. Under the leadership of Steve and Candy Zuckerman, the company has experienced steady growth attributable to a focus on custom solutions, strategic relationships with premier packaging suppliers, and services like vendor managed inventory and supplier consolidation.
