OVERVIEW & CHALLENGE

A prepared meal company specializing in fresh, never-frozen meals needed packaging that reflected the same commitment to quality found in its products. Serving consumers across a variety of dietary preferences, the company places a strong emphasis on ingredient quality, convenience, and sustainability. As the business continued to grow, it needed a packaging partner capable of supporting both its day-to-day supply requirements and new product initiatives without disrupting operations.

THE SOLUTION

SupplyOne developed a comprehensive packaging program designed to support the customer’s rapid growth, sustainability objectives, and evolving production needs.

  • Comprehensive Packaging Support: SupplyOne developed a broad packaging program that included boxes, labels, tamper-evident containers, portion cups, trays, lidding film, void-fill paper, gel packs, cold-chain solutions, and other essential packaging materials.
  • Sustainable Tray Conversion: Working closely with the customer, SupplyOne helped transition its meal packaging from traditional polypropylene trays to biodegradable/compostable MAP trays, better aligning the package with the company’s sustainability goals and premium brand positioning.
  • Automation & Production Solutions: As production requirements expanded, SupplyOne also supported the operation with MAP tray sealers, chicken dicers, label applicators, fillers, and additional equipment designed to support efficient meal production and packaging.

THE RESULT

SupplyOne helped the customer transition to more sustainable packaging while providing the reliable supply and production support needed to scale its growing meal business.
